Exclusive Statements to Metropol FM from Killa Hakan’s Lawyer

Şükrü Sarıdere, the lawyer of Killa Hakan—one of the pioneering figures of Turkish rap music—shared the latest information on Metropol FM about the artist’s condition while he remains in intensive care. Sarıdere said Killa Hakan's condition has been stable for the last three days and that there have been positive developments compared with last week.

Killa Hakan, who already had lung problems from a previous illness, returned to hospital about 10-12 days ago after having difficulty breathing. The artist, taken under emergency observation by doctors, continues to receive treatment in intensive care.

Speaking as a guest on Metropol FM, lawyer Şükrü Sarıdere said last week was very difficult but that there have been encouraging developments in recent days.

Sarıdere said, 'For the last three days his condition has at least stabilised. Compared with last week, about 30-40% of his lung has started to exchange air on its own again. These things make us happy and give us hope.'

Being Sedated by Doctors

Sarıdere noted that Killa Hakan has not yet been awakened and emphasized that the artist did not fall into a coma spontaneously, but was sedated in a controlled manner by doctors as part of his treatment.

“His condition is more stable and improving compared with last week,” Sarıdere said, adding that visitors are not being allowed at the moment because Killa Hakan is in intensive care and there is a risk of infection.

Appeal: Do Not Trust Unverified Reports

Reacting to unverified information spreading on social media about Killa Hakan's health, Sarıdere urged people not to believe or spread such posts.

Emphasising that Killa Hakan is one of the founding names of Turkish rap, Sarıdere said they are asking fans and rap listeners to pray for the artist.

Sarıdere concluded his statement with the words, 'Killa Hakan is not alone, and will never be alone.'
